This study examines Indonesian EFL teachers' perceptions of Moodle, the challenges they encounter, and their strategies to overcome them. An explanatory sequential mixed-method design was employed, involving 72 senior high school teachers from Central, South, and North Sulawesi. Data were gathered through online questionnaires and semi-structured interviews. The findings show that teachers view Moodle positively for its usability, accessibility, and support for various educational activities, though concerns remain regarding technical robustness, speaking skill development, and feedback effectiveness. Limited technical skills and inadequate support were identified as major challenges. Teachers addressed these issues through professional development, collaboration, and the creation of interactive content. The study highlights the need for enhanced technical support and expanded professional development to ensure equitable access to online learning. Future research should involve a larger sample and explore additional factors affecting Moodle's effectiveness. © 2024 The Authors
