This electronic document is a 'live' template and already Few studies focus on technology adoption research on mobile-based assessment (MBA) despite the opportunity for mobile-based assessment implementation in the COVID-19 pandemic is increasing. Investigating the Junior high school students' determinant factors that affect their behavioral intention to use MBA was the goal of this study The technological acceptance model (TAM) was the acceptance model used in this investigation. and several other determinants such as perceived mobility (PM), perceived trust (PT), mobile user interface (MUI), mobile self-efficacy (MSE), infrastructure (I), content (C), and satisfaction (S). This research was conducted at a public junior high school in Malang, East Java, Indonesia with a total of 145 students as respondents. The survey data were analyzed using a structural equation model (SEM) using the Smart PLS 3.0 application. The results of this study confirm that perceived usefulness (PU), perceived ease of use (PEOU), and satisfaction have a positive effect on BIU in terms of the use of MBA. The developed model predicted a 15.6% variance of BIU on the use of MBA. © 2024 IEEE.
