The use of technology is expected to improve student learning outcomes. This research aims to determine the differences in learning outcomes of students who study using Moolang Virtual Classroom with the application of Direct Lecturing and Problem-Based Learning. The method in this research uses a 2-way quasi-experimental ANOVA and a gain score test to determine the effectiveness of applying the technique. The population in this study consisted of ten classes, and the research sample consisted of two classes based on the purposive sampling technique of paying attention to certain characters. To determine the learning outcomes of this Indonesian Economics Course, students will be evaluated based on their level of economic literacy. The results of the Gain Score Test on the PBL method show quite effective results, namely 58%, and the Gain Score test on Direct Lecturing shows less effective results with a result of 42%. The interaction between method and level of economic literacy shows that learning methods influence 50.7%, while other factors are influenced by motivation. The researcher gives some advice. to future researchers, they can use another learning method to improve critical thinking and learning outcomes. Future researchers can use some teaching environments to give students new experiences. © 2024 IEEE.
