Abstract

The rapid development of technology has had a significant impact on communication and data exchange, leading to an increase in data theft. Confidential and private data is particularly vulnerable to hackers' theft and manipulation. Therefore, it is crucial to prioritize personal data protection in this digital era. One method to address this issue is steganography, which involves embedding secret messages into media such as audio samples. However, the development of steganography has revealed areas for improvement, such as a decline in stego-audio quality, represented by PSNR, which can result in the inability to retrieve the message. To address this issue, the linear interpolation method and payload truncation are utilized to minimize payload capacity in the audio sample insertion process. This ensures that each interpolated sample has a high capacity and quality for payload insertion. © 2024 IEEE.
