Abstract

Challenges towards improving the learning experience are getting more complex because of rapid technological advancement. The advancement might be used to support creative and attractive learning experiences. The improved learning experience is expected to positively impact students' learning achievements. The purpose of this research is to produce an interactive booklet on the Human Digestive System that is feasible, practical, and effective to be used to improve student learning achievements. The research model used is the ADDIE model, consisting of the Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, and Evaluation stages. Data collection techniques include a need assessment questionnaire, media expert validation questionnaires, materials, teacher and student practicality questionnaires, and learning outcomes tests. The sample of this research was 30 students of class VIII SMP Negeri 9 Malang. The results of the validity test of media experts obtained 92.59%, and material experts obtained 100%, which were categorised as very valid with very decent descriptions. The results of the practicality test of teachers obtained 96.25%, and students' practicality obtained 90.29%, which is categorised as very practical. The results of the effectiveness test were 0.37, which was categorised as moderate. Based on the validity test, practicality test, and effectiveness test of the booklet, the Human Digestive System Material is declared feasible, practical, and effective to be used to improve student learning outcomes in science learning. © 2024 Author(s).
