Creative thinking skill has an important position in preparing initiative and productive generations. Someone is creative when they have more organised actions, have mature innovative plans and can consider the impact or other problems that will arise. This study aimed to investigate the effectiveness of Problem-Based Learning (PBL) combined with Think Talk Write (TTW) by using a Biology Electronic Module (BEM) to promote students' creative thinking skills. This study is a pre-experimental design using a group pretest-posttest design. The study participants consisted of 33 students in the tenth grade in the Natural Science Program of SMAN 6 Barru, South Sulawesi - Indonesia. Essay tests were used to measure the students' creative thinking skills. The results of the tests were measured by using the n-gain test. The value of the pretest was 55.32, and the value of the posttest was 75.30. The result of the n-gain test was 0.43. It means that it is in the medium criteria. This study's finding showed that PBL combined with TTW effectively promoted students' creative thinking skills. © 2024 Author(s).
