Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of using work zone, the number of workers, work volume, and working hours on productivity of the upper-structure works. The works includes columns, beams, and floor slabs of high-rise buildings. The productivity rate will be conducted by using multiple linear regression technique. The results show that (1) the average productivity of column formwork is 0.086 m3/hour, column reinforcement work is 0.042 m3/hour, scaffolding is 4.309 m3/hour, beam formwork is 0.097 m3/hour, beam reinforcement work is 0.032 m3/hour, slab formwork is 0.153 m3/hour, and floor slab reinforcement work is 0.019 m3/hour, (2) the effect of using work zone, number of workers, and working hours on the productivity of the upper structure work is 69.9%, (3) the number of workers and the volume of work have a positive effect, that if the value increases it will increase the productivity. The duration of work has a negative effect, which means if the value increases, it will reduce productivity rate. © 2024 Author(s).
