Mental health literacy is an essential competency for candidate counselor student. However, there are still many misconceptions in their understanding of the concepts, causes, and treatments of mental disorders. This study aims to develop digital-based microlearning content to improve the mental health knowledge of candidate counselor students. The research adopts the ADDIE model (Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, and Evaluation) and is currently in the development stage. The content is organized in a modular format, including infographics, podcasts, and interactive PowerPoints presentations designed to be easily accessible, understandable, and visually appealing. As an initial trial, the content was uploaded and accessed through Malang State University's SIPEJAR digital learning platform. Validation was conducted by two subject matter experts and two media experts who assessed aspects of accuracy, usability, convenience, and visual appeal. The validation results showed that the content was rated as highly appropriate, useful, easy to use, and interesting. This finding indicates that the microlearning content has high feasibility to be used as a means of strengthening mental health knowledge. Although full implementation has not yet occurred, these results provide a strong basis for further effectiveness testing during the implementation and evaluation phases. © 2025 IEEE.
