SIPEJAR (Sistem Pengelolaan Pembelajaran) is a Learning Management System platform developed by the Universitas Negeri Malang, which has been massively used by the academic community since it was developed almost a decade ago. This study investigates factors influencing actual technology use, focusing on system quality, perceived usefulness, and gender of SIPEJAR users. Data collected from 176 students from 7 faculties at Universitas Negeri Malang were analyzed to test the moderated mediation model. The results confirm that the relationship between system quality and actual technology use is fully mediated by perceived usefulness. Unexpectedly, we found no evidence that gender moderates the relationship between system quality and actual technology use through perceived usefulness. Finally, implications and limitations of this study are presented. © 2025 IEEE.
