The COVID-19 pandemic sped up the shift to online learning and highlighted the need for teaching tools that keep students engaged in remote settings. Digital Electronics courses usually depend on hands-on sessions, which makes it hard to recreate those learning experiences online. A common issue for students was their difficulty in assembling electronic circuits, a skill that is usually developed through physical lab work with instructional kits. To address this gap, we developed a mobile-based digital practicum simulator that aims to improve students' motor skills and hands-on learning. The simulator is available on smartphones and allows for interactive circuit assembly that mimics real-world lab conditions. The prototype includes decoder and encoder content modules, creating a solid framework for ongoing development. Early feedback from users shows significant improvements in students' technical skills and engagement. These results support the simulator's ability to enhance remote engineering education, especially when access to traditional labs is limited. Furthermore, the system effectively incorporates encoder and decoder features, laying a strong foundation for further progress. © 2025 IEEE.
