The use of technology in business has been widely adopted by Indonesian young entrepreneurs. While technology offers numerous advantages, its extensive use can also lead to technostress-related issues. The aim of this research is to describe aspects that have the potential to cause technostress among young entrepreneurs in Indonesia. This study employs a quantitative methodology with a descriptive research design to accomplish the research objectives. The participants in this study consisted of 318 individuals who were young entrepreneurs. The data was analyzed using descriptive analysis, namely by calculating percentages, with the assistance of the SPSS software. This study found that most young entrepreneurs use ICT extensively in their businesses. Several primary causative reasons link this growth in ICT use to high technostress levels. Rapid technological changes, social media pressure, and the desire for constant communication cause technostress. High expectations, cyber security issues, and work-life integration also affect young entrepreneurs’ stress levels. This study helps explain how technology affects business operations, particularly young entrepreneurs’ technostress. © The Author(s), under exclusive license to Springer Nature Singapore Pte Ltd. 2025.
