This paper presents the analysis of coordination between Overcurrent Relay and Differential Relay in five transformer bays in Rungkut Substation. This study aims to obtain optimal relay settings for reliable protection against internal and external disturbances. The methodology used includes power flow analysis and short circuit simulation to determine the appropriate pickup current, Time Multiplier Setting (TMS), and relay working time. Several disturbance scenarios are simulated, including disturbances on the load side, secondary side, and primary side of the transformer. The results show that Overcurrent Relay operates selectively in coordination according to its level, while Differential Relay effectively isolates internal disturbances without reacting to external disturbances. This ensures a reliable, fast, and selective protection scheme for high-load substations. © 2025 IEEE.
