Handling and detecting oil spills is a crucial issue that requires innovative technological solutions and efficient approaches. This research proposes the utilization of Autonomous Surface Vehicles (ASV) equipped with YOLO (You Only Look Once) algorithms to identify and address oil spills through an integrated vacuum system. The primary objective of this study is to design a detection system that is fast and accurate, allowing for immediate cleanup response once an oil spill is detected. With the implementation of an integrated vacuum system, ASV can sort the oil spills present in the water environment to minimize ecosystem damage. The use of this robot demonstrates the importance of responses from the object detection system that has been implemented © 2025 IEEE.
