Abstract

This study aims to explore the integration of Artificial Intelligence in the implementation of Differentiated Instruction in learning. The research uses ChatGPT to develop prompt engineering for more personalized learning. The study involved 40 students using prompt engineering with the COSTAR framework. The results of the study found that the use of AI in differentiated learning can run with AI integration, but it still has constraints on the limited relevance of response answers and application interfaces that are not user friendly. The limitations of diagnostic feedback and lack of learning planning are challenges in utilizing AI in technology-based Differentiated Instruction. This research is expected to be a reference, especially related to the use of AI in more personalized learning. © 2025 IEEE.
