This study evaluates the usability and user experience (UX) of a mobile-based digital practicum simulator specifically designed for engineering education. Practicum plays an essential role in bridging theoretical knowledge and practical skills. However, traditional methods often lack interactivity and adaptability, limiting student engagement and skill development. Mobile learning applications have emerged as innovative solutions, yet their effectiveness hinges significantly on intuitive usability and positive user experiences. Using the System Usability Scale (SUS) and the User Experience Questionnaire (UEQ), this research investigates the usability dimensions and user perceptions of an educational mobile application among 75 electrical engineering students. Despite a moderate usability score (SUS = 50.77), the app demonstrated a positive impact by providing flexible, accessible, and interactive opportunities for students to engage with complex digital electronics concepts outside traditional laboratory settings. The app's strengths in attractiveness and efficiency suggest it effectively supports students' technical skill development and enhances motivation, making the learning process more engaging and less constrained by physical resources. These insights underline critical design considerations necessary for developing engaging, effective, and user-centered mobile practicum tools that can supplement conventional engineering education, particularly in remote or resource-limited contexts. © 2025 IEEE.
