Online applications, including the LINE app, have become essential tools for English lecturers in teaching English, particularly for vocational students. The LINE app offers various features, including LINE events, LINE group chat, and LINE meetings. This study focuses on the use of LINE group chat (LGC) in English teaching and learning. The objectives of this study are to explore the vocational students in the Department of Finance at State Polytechnic of Malang, Kediri Campus (PSDKU Kediri) perceive the integration of LINE app into English teaching and learning and the key factors influencing vocational students' attitudes and experiences with the LINE app as a supplementary platform for learning English. LINE group chat, with its unlimited member capacity and communication capabilities, provides an ideal platform for supporting English education. Lecturer creates LINE group chat that is widely utilized by students, particularly in the Department of Finance at State Polytechnic of Malang, Kediri Campus (PSDKU Kediri). The findings highlight the potential of technology-enhanced learning in language education while emphasizing the need to address these challenges for a seamless and productive learning experience. © Copyright (c) 2026 The Authors.
