The digital era is a period where information literacy can significantly support student learning. According to a statement from a mathematics teacher at one of the junior high schools in East Java Province, Indonesia, several students still struggle with solving real-world context problems and do not yet use smartphones wisely. This research aims to describe junior high school students' mathematical literacy in solving AKM problems in relation to their digital literacy, addressing the challenges they face in solving real-world context problems. The type of research used is descriptive research with a qualitative approach. Data collection was conducted using questionnaires, tests, and interviews, employing instruments such as digital literacy questionnaires, mathematical literacy test items, and interview guidelines. The research was conducted on 23 students from one of the classes. Three subjects were selected as representatives of each digital literacy category: high, medium, and low. The results of the research show that students with high digital literacy have the ability to understand problems, present mathematical forms, develop problem-solving strategies, and conclude problem-solving results effectively. Students with moderate digital literacy can understand the problems, present mathematical forms, and develop problem-solving strategies but are unable to use mathematical procedures and conclude the problem-solving results effectively. Students with low digital literacy lack the ability to understand the problems, may present mathematical forms inaccurately, are unable to develop problem-solving strategies, and cannot conclude the problem-solving results.
