This study examines the influence of innovation strategies, dimensions of Total Quality Management (TQM), and internationalization strategies on the performance of higher education institutions. The relationship between the independent variables TQM dimensions, innovation strategy, and internationalization strategy) and the dependent variable (organizational performance of higher education) was analyzed using multiple linear regression analysis. Additionally, this research utilized nine predictor variables: communication, teacher involvement/empowerment, teacher development/training, continuous improvement, leadership/administrative commitment, data analysis/result measurement, focus on students, innovation strategy, and internationalization strategy. The results of the analysis suggest that specific TQM variables have a significant impact on the performance of higher education organizations. These variables include teacher involvement/empowerment and teacher development/training. Furthermore, innovation strategies and internationalization strategies also significantly impact higher education organizational performance. This finding presents significant benefits for higher education studies as TQM practices and innovation have become crucial concerns in higher education. This is due to the increasing competition and complex demands of the workforce. TQM practices in higher education are related to the education system. This system comprises inputs such as students, teaching and administrative staff, physical facilities, and processes such as learning and teaching activities and administration, and outputs such as exam results, development, income, and satisfaction. The aim of universities is to enhance this education system to compete nationally and internationally and ensure long-term survival. © 2025, SRAC - Romanian Society for Quality. All rights reserved.
