Abstract

The Future of Publishing Blockchain technology revolutionizes how countries think about it and causes transparency and reform of the industry. In this article, we will explore potential for the use of blockchain technology to disrupt the Indonesian literature distribution scene by investigating possible fitting for a smart publishing platform. With content going increasingly digital and a rising demand for transparent, accessible distribution channels, traditional publishing faces issues of piracy, transparency and inefficiency. That is the reason we provide a solution to this challenges by combining blockchain technology and publishing platforms that can break the ecosystem for authors, publishers and readers. Blockchain's immutable ledger, smart contracts and decentralized storage bring trust, transaction efficiency, IP rights and remuneration to content creators. These disables are owned as supporting smart publishing platform in Indonesian literation landscape with blockchain technology. So within this structure, we explain how the blockchain could disrupt the literacy compart ridged and distribute literature that could lead to a more sustainable and fairer ecosystem for the Indonesian publishing industry, through the stories, data cases, and suggestions for future direction. © 2026 Author(s).
