Abstract

The purpose of this research is to examine the effects of Corporate Social Responsibility on economic performance with environmental performance as an intervening variable. The collection of data was done through documentation from the annual financial statements that are published by the manufacturing company in Indonesia Stock Exchange in 2010-2012 and examine 13 companies which are in accordance with the criteria. This research uses a path analysis. The results of hypothesis testing show that Corporate Social Responsibility has a positive effect on economic performance, Corporate Social Responsibility has a positive effect on environmental performance, there is a positive effect of environmental performance on economic performance, and there is a positive effect of Corporate Social Responsibility on economic performance through environmental performance as an intervening variable.
