Abstract

Self-directed learning within andragogical method environment is a continuous engagement in acquiring, applying and creating Knowledge and skills in the context of an individual Adult learner’s unique problems. For best of practical leaning output in the laboratory, it requires a domain oriented design environments (DODE) for learning technologies 1). The problem until now is, there is no educational technology that is compatible implemented for domain oriented design environments within automotive engineering. Computerized interactive ABS/ESP direct learning simulators (CIA-DLS) is proposed by author to realize DODE in conducting the vehicle stability using ABS/ESP in the practical self-direct learning, either in the school or after passing school and in the workplace. It is exactly a un-lecturer learning simulator. The method is arranged by testing the microteaching for adult using andragogical parameters. The independent variable are IQ, knowledge of brake system and basic computer while the dependent variable are knowledge and knowhow of ABS/ESP technology. The Anova result of the treatment compare with conventional DODE application shows, learning output, knowledge and knowhow of ABS/ESP technology are 23% better. © 2017 American Scientific Publishers All rights reserved.
