The number of engineering educational institutions and engineering students has rapidly increased year after year to meet the need of the development of the local, national and international labor market. Therefore, it is highly expected that engineering educational institutions work professionally, and for the purpose of improving the quality of their graduates, they should recognize their needs and take some urgent actions to achieve the success of education. A considered solution to draw up strategic plans and management system is balanced scorecard model. Engineering educational institutions possible implement this model to balance operational actions and the engineering educational institution' visions and strategies, improve internal and external communication, and monitor organization's performances based on planned strategic purposes. To serve this purpose, this article proposed a clear explanation as to the implementation of balanced scorecard in the engineering educational institution and balanced scorecard design for engineering educational institution in order to prepare their graduates for the labor market needs. This implementation process will result in remarkable success if supported by good communication between engineering educational leaders, faculty members, and staffs. © 2016 Author(s).
