A discussion about a two-dimensional cationic polymeric complex of silver(I) nitrate with a protonated macrocycle precursor with SOS donor atoms was presented. Crystals of the material were obtained from the diffusion of ether vapor under a closed system into a solution of (LH2)(NO3)2 and silver(I) nitrate in methanol. It was found that ligand atoms were numbered sequentially outwards from the central oxygen in unprimed and primed segments.
