MED2S is a Medical Emergency Data Delivery Service that sends data from disaster areas to hospitals. MED2S is designed to work during medical emergencies in disasters, where on-site medical personnel cannot diagnose all victims. MED2S allows on-site personnel to use their mobile devices to capture and annotate photographs of victims' injuries. MED2S splits photographs into smaller pieces, and assigns them priorities. The pieces are sent, in order of priority, across a DTN of mobile devices running MED2S to data ferries going to hospitals. At hospitals, data are forwarded for diagnosis. Diagnosis and prescriptions are routed back to the disaster area. © 2017 Association for Computing Machinery.
